PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: September 16, 2026
Website: https://www.thedeepvoiceguy.biz

The Deep Voice Guy, LLC ("The Deep Voice Guy," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit TheDeepVoiceGuy.biz, submit a quote or audition request, upload project materials, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our website and voice over business.

This policy applies to the website and information collected through it. A separate written agreement, proposal, invoice, platform policy, or client contract may apply to a specific voice over engagement and will control if it expressly conflicts with this policy for that engagement.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information You Provide

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact and business information, including your name, company, telephone number, email address, and professional role.
• Project and quote information, including project name, project union status, project type, intended usage or commercial length, market, budget, audition deadline, session date or project deadline, directed-session preferences, technical connection preferences, project specifications, creative direction, and other instructions.
• Content and files you submit, including scripts, messages, scratch tracks, backing music, briefs, references, and other uploaded materials.
• Communications, including emails, telephone messages, form submissions, scheduling communications, feedback, and customer-service records.
• Transaction and business records if you hire us, including quotes, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, payment status, tax and accounting records, and delivery records. Payment-card or bank details are generally collected and processed by the payment provider rather than stored by this website.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral source, pages viewed, links or buttons used, timestamps, session identifiers, and information about how the site performs. Cookies, pixels, local storage, tags, and similar technologies may be used for these purposes as described in the Cookie Policy and Settings section.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from a person who refers you, a talent agent or manager, a casting platform, a production company, a payment or invoicing provider, a social platform when you communicate with us there, or public professional sources. We use that information only for legitimate business purposes consistent with this policy.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We may use personal information to:

• Respond to inquiries, evaluate project fit, prepare quotes, provide custom auditions, schedule sessions, and communicate about prospective or active work.
• Perform, administer, deliver, and support voice over and related services, including invoicing, collections, accounting, tax, conflict, and recordkeeping functions.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and prevent fraud, abuse, malicious activity, and technical problems.
• Understand website traffic and performance through analytics when consent is required and has been provided.
• Maintain professional relationships and send business communications. Promotional email will be sent only when permitted by law, and recipients may opt out of promotional messages at any time.
• Protect our rights, voice, identity, recordings, intellectual property, clients, users, and business; enforce agreements; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
• Comply with laws, lawful requests, tax obligations, subpoenas, court orders, and regulatory requirements.

LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent for nonessential cookies and optional marketing; steps requested before entering a contract and performance of a contract; our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, operating and securing the site, protecting our work and rights, and maintaining ordinary business records; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

The website uses essential technologies needed to operate and secure the site. With your permission where required, it may also use functional and analytics technologies for media playback, quote-form features, and traffic measurement. Current services may include Wix, Wix audio or video tools, 123FormBuilder, Google Analytics 4, Visitor Analytics, and embedded-media providers. The Cookie Policy explains the categories and how to change your choices.

HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

• Website and form providers, including Wix and 123FormBuilder, which host or operate parts of the website and quote form.
• Analytics and performance providers, including Google Analytics and Visitor Analytics, subject to consent requirements and configured preferences.
• Email, cloud storage, file-transfer, scheduling, communications, accounting, invoicing, and payment providers used to run the business.
• Professional advisers and contractors, such as attorneys, accountants, tax professionals, insurers, and technical support providers, when they need the information to perform services or protect legal interests.
• Government authorities, courts, law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the business and website.
• A buyer, successor, lender, or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, sale, transfer, reorganization, or other business transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND EXTERNAL SERVICES

The website may contain embedded media and links to third-party services, including social networks, video platforms, professional profiles, and an external merchandise store. Those parties may collect information under their own privacy policies when you load an embedded feature or leave our website. Purchases made through an outside merchandise or payment provider are governed by that provider's policies and terms. We do not control third-party privacy practices.

DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to complete work, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and the relationship. As a general practice, non-client quote and audition submissions may be kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact; project audio, scripts, and backup files are typically retained for approximately 3 to 12 months after completion unless the client agreement or a legal need requires otherwise; and contracts, invoices, payment records, and tax or accounting records may be retained for up to 7 years or longer when legally required. We may keep limited records of requests, disputes, and opt-outs as needed to demonstrate compliance.

SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including secure website connections and access controls made available by our service providers. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, payment-card details, medical information, passwords, or other highly sensitive personal information through the quote form or ordinary email. If a project requires confidential material, contact us first to arrange an appropriate delivery method and, when needed, a confidentiality agreement.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We are based in Florida, United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards made available by our service providers.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to personal information about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of or objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent. You may also opt out of promotional email and change nonessential cookie choices at any time through Cookie Settings.

To make a request, email JeanFrancois@TheDeepVoiceGuy.biz with the subject line Privacy Request or call 816-390-3634. Describe the request and the information or interaction involved. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request when permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and direct verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

Residents of the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where they live, work, or believe a violation occurred. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to address the concern.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY DISCLOSURES

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in this policy, including identifiers and contact information, commercial and professional information, Internet or network activity, approximate location derived from an IP address, communications, project information, and content submitted by users. We collect these categories from users, devices, service providers, referral sources, and public professional sources; use them for the purposes described above; and disclose them to the recipient categories described above. We do not knowingly sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. Because there is no uniform industry standard for that signal, the website does not currently respond to it. We honor choices made through the site's Cookie Settings and will recognize legally required opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when applicable and supported by the site's consent technology.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

This website is intended for business and general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. A child under 13 should not submit a quote request, upload a file, or send personal information through the site. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as required.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, vendors, or business practices. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
